About Us

The Christchurch Irish Society hosts a number of events throughout the year to bring the Irish community together. Examples being:

• St. Patricks Day celebrations

• Mid-Winters Dinner

• Rose of Tralee competition

• Table Quizes

The society also hosts and supports a number of clubs such as Tír Na Nóg, Gaelic Football, Young Mothers, Bowls and Irish dancing. See the clubs page for more information. 

Christchurch Irish Society Hall

The Christchurch Irish Society are fortunate enough to own their own hall.

The Christchurch Irish Society Hall is licensed to hold 199 people and is available for hire to members only. We have a good sized kitchen with two stoves, microwave, two large sinks and a counter opening into the hall. There is plenty of table and chairs for your guests.

You may supply your own alcohol or the Irish Society can provide a bar for your guests at reasonable club prices. The Hall is located 29 Domain Terrace, Spreydon and is fully Alarmed with regular security patrols.
